1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using S.A.R.A.S. (the "Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this service.
2. Eligibility
You must be a current student, faculty member, or alumni of Birla Institute of Technology, Patna to use this platform. Access is restricted to users with a valid @bitmesra.ac.in email address or verified alumni credentials.
3. User Conduct
We want to foster a positive and collaborative environment. You agree not to:
- Post content that is hate speech, threatening, or pornographic.
- Harass, bully, or intimidate other students.
- Upload viruses or malicious code.
- Spam the community feed or comments.
- Share academic materials that violate the institute's academic integrity policy.
Zero Tolerance Policy: Any user found violating these rules will have their account suspended immediately.
4. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content (notes, posts, images) you create and share on S.A.R.A.S. However, by posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content.
5. Disclaimer
S.A.R.A.S is a student-run project and is not the official administrative portal of BIT Mesra. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all information (e.g., event dates, exam schedules) posted by users is accurate. Always verify critical information with official college channels.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes via a platform announcement.
